Arnav saw Khushi doing gardening as he walk in his room with a plate full of Jalebis , "what are you doing? "

Khushi: LG  i am gardening? she just gulp " can't you see LG"

Arnav: ok you carry on i will have Jalebies

Khushi: LG don't forget you are diabetes

Arnav: oh really by the way i have made sugar free , he winked

Khushi: LG please fix my hairs , as her hand was muddy

Arnav Kneel down next to  her he fixed her hairs , she move forward & kissed his cheek , he wipe her lips & showed her his eyes

Khushi: open her mouth & showed him her tongue , he smiled

Arnav" my Sanka Devi is best " he picked a piece of Jalebi & put in her mouth , she chew it , he was not able to take his eyes off her

Khushi: waved her muddy hand in front of his eyes "Ahhh "

Arnav "oh sorry " placed a piece in her mouth ,he placed the plate on table & walk to his chair " come on go & wash your hands & change your dress"

Khushi : try to read his face ,she at once get up & walked in with in no times she had shower & walk back ,she saw him sitting with closed eyes she came & sit on the arm of the chair, she lean kissed his cheek

Arnav: Khushi

Khuhsi : "hum janta hain" she cupped his face & kissed the tear which was flowing down his eyes . he open his eyes at her she was placing her head on his chest " hold me tight" he warp his arm around her waist  & hug her tightly . he look at the sky as she was too looking up the sky

Khushi " why 2 stars again?"

Arnav: hug her more tight "let's sleep " he run his finger in her hairs with in no time she was  asleep  ,wrapping her arm around him , he kissed her forehead , look at Sky" Maa  kaise hain" he sobbed.

Flash back

Dadi: Arnav will you still marry her? i know she had trap you like her maasi tarp your father"

Arnav: was in shocked " it is not possible"but dadi passed him the pic

Dadi" i want to take revenge , i can't forget how Anjali's in laws back off at her wedding day because of her"

Arnav: sat on the recline

Dadi: picked his & text"Khushi meet me behind temple"she walked out

Dadi: Car is waiting it will take you to a place where Arnav may not be able to find you. she pointed at a car.

Khushi held her breath she walk to the car , she was not able to hear or see anything ,she had a flash back from farm house meeting to sheesh mahal . she came back to life when the driver asked her they have reached . it was as dark as her life ..

Dadi gave the kangan to Arnav " she said she can't marry you"

Arnav"marry , she is my wife , it is just a ritual, where is she?

Dadi"she left"

Arnav: "how can she left me ?she promised me" he searched for her like crazy but he couldn't find her

Khushi" is it raining?she said in sleepy voice

Arnav: wipe his face and her's ,picked her up & walked in ,placed her on bed

Arnav: wiped his tears

Dadi one day came with a small baby girl

He look at his 6 years daughter who was again asleep in his arms , she always try to make him smile " no one can take your place " he look at the sky , "my love was pure , at least you should have talked to me once" he made his daughter rest on bed , he opened the drawer and taken out the letter

Forgive me, i know you must be hating me as i am niece of that Aurat whom you hate the most, Arnav ji she is our daughter , nashai of the most memorable moment of my life , dont hate her . when you loved me  at that pleasant moment she was ... she is yours 

He had read this letter many times , dont know why his heart cried at every time worst then last , she didnot addressed him , she didnot wrote her name , he could imagine in how much Pain she was before dying

Arnav & Khushi rush to the hospital . Buaji was already in ICU

Khushi: "i left you guys 20 mins back at that time Bauji was fine ,what suddenly happened to her? " she said while crying.

Amma: "this letter came"she passed to Arnav he read & closed his eyes ,he clench his fist 

Khushi "kya"  she took it from him "it was noticed from Court , if they will not pay ,their property will be seized by bank, they have just 24 hours"

LA : it is 7  i think he will come here by 8 she took a sip

Arnav:  he without looking around kissed her , grasp her tightly from her nape ,Khushi knew to calm him that was the best thing ,she gently  run her finger in his hairs , he wanted to show her his angry but as her soft lips touch his his anger vanish away ,he was enjoying the kiss, she pushed him suddenly "what "

Khushi: you have a  Date with Miss Lavanya Kashap  at her farm house,she repeated the address

Arnav : had a laughter  "what we are doing here?" brush his nose tips with hers

Khushi that what i want to ask you ? we both should be in hospital

Arnav lets go , i will drop you and then i will go to her place

LA : quickly check her self, dim the light and on the camera , ran to the door , she saw  a shadow "Khushi you are gone"she open the door and warped her arm around the guy " i knew you will come " she kissed his neck .

La: today i will talk and you will just listen ," she turn around and kissed him . she was totally out of her mind , she walk back wards pulling him with her , her eyes was tightly closed as she wanted to feel him ,she  bang with the bed ,she let him go" first romance then dinner " she pushed him to bed

LA" shhh i will talk today, cannot you give me one night "she kissed him back . picked up the drink which she had already made , as she broke the kiss she placed the drink next to his lips . the light was too dim , they could hardly see each other " i want to feel you , if  you will see me you will think of that B***" she felt he was under effect of the drink as he had untied her dori and started his activities, she moan in joy and help him in undressing .with in min they were in each other arms , 

LA "Arnav i am know you will come .she warp her  around him his bare chest " i Love you so much today you     made me feel as if i am in heaven "she said with her eyes closed , she received call, she picked up her manger was on other end " manager sb take all blame on our factory " she closed the call and kissed on the shoulder, she slept 

Shyam" repeated the address m oh a date " he gave his wicked smile .

Early Next morning 

LA: "oh this is the best morning of my life " she opened her eyes and at once she sat  , pull the bedspread to cover her self "who are ...her voiced vanished as she look at his bare body  ,she try to jump out of bed when he  grab her and pull her back to bed " not that fast , last night you didnot let me speak , now it is my turn" he  without giving her a chance started his activities, she try to free her self but he was to strong to handle , he was still drank he roughly handle her leaved mark at each part of her body.

Khushi: how are you feeling ? she kissed his forehead as he was lying in her lap

Khushi run her finger in his hairs

Arnav i slept for how many hours ?

Khushi: smiled "my baby slept for 11 hours "

Khushi "shhh Buaji is sleeping"  placed her hand on his mouth, she could read his eyes ,placed her cheek on his forehead "she will throw us out from home let her , you are my treasure and i have that" she hug him more tight

She step out of car and back the door , he was taking out dinner boxes from car when he felt the car wheels suddenly became flat"what the"

Khushi smiled victoriously and throw her hair pin on him " i dont trust her  " 

Arnav "Khushi kai bachi"before he could say any thing Nani came out 

Nani:where were you both ?they have shifted her in room , and she want to see you both

Arnav and Khushi rush in room ,Buaji opened her arms for them she hug them both

Buaji: "you didnot had dinner" as she noticed their dry lips and pale face ,both in together" they didnot asked us"

Buaji :mera bacha , i will feed you both from my hand like always

Amma ,Maa and Nani smiled  . Maa gave her plate they didnot stop her as Dr said to give her peace of mind , and everyone knew Arnav and Khushi can make her relaxed , They left Arnav and Khushi with buaji and went home .

Arnav like childhood squeezed in with bujai, Khushi scold him

Buaji: "thek hain hum"

Buaji: started telling him the story ,Khushi wanted to cry but she hold her self she sat just behind him on  the sofa .after few mins "

Arnav Buaji tell me that story in which i am the prince and she is the princess, he dont remember what happened after that

Arnav how you managed "he was confused how she pull him to sofa

Khushi  " is that first time, you always sleep and i always managed ...she winked at him

LA look at her bruised body and the Guy "who are you?" she said in pain as every part of her body was in pain " I am Shyam , you wanted to ruin Khushi  you ruined your self , as you last night took all the blame on your company" LA fainted with that shocked

Arnav was not getting what to do, he called Anjali immediately

Arnav: Di woh...who...  *Shyam snatched the cell from him*
Shyam: Anjali please tell him to behave, he is in jail right now and he has just met the girl
Arnav looked at Shyam. He could tell that Shyam was actually very worried for him, Shyam was not just his Jiju, but was also like his elder brother. He would always take advice from him as he knew he is the wiser one. It was for the first time that Arnav was not listening to him. Arnav wanted to see Khushi again, but why - that he didn't know, all he knew was that his heart was saying he should check her. He walked into the jail and saw the police guys doing their work, he walked straight to the cell, the lady was pulling Khushi to get up
Lady: I think no one will come to meet you now, let me take you to your cell
Khushi was making jalebi shapes with her hand on the desk
Arnav: what is she doing?
Lady: her cell mate says she tries to make Jalebies, maybe she wants to eat some jalebies .
Arnav placed his hand on her hand and stopped her midway in her jalebi making "do you want to have jalebies?" he saw a spark in her eyes as if a child is finally getting his/her favourite candy

Lady: are you going to be coming back?
Arnav: yes

he walked out  and overheard Shyam and Aman's conversation

Shyam: she cannot kill Aman, she is not an enemy to Raizada family
Aman: they why didn't you save her?
Shyam: I tried to convince Arnav but uss per bhoot sawar tha! Khushi was there to attend the wedding of her friend, a batch of guys was firing in the air as the groom came, she saw them giving the gun to kids to fire and felt bad, then she saw Maa coming down the temple stairs and she rushed to take gun from the kid, and whilst snatching it, the trigger got pulled by her.
Aman: when did you come to know all this? And when you knew, then  why didn't you save her?
Shyam: Aman Aman Aman - trust me I really wanted to...but what can I do, Arnav who is my saale saab, and more than that his is like my wife Anjali's child ever since Maa's death...and on top of that I am a lawyer, it is my job to try and win the case for my client...if I was khushi's lawyer - then for sure I could have saved her, but the truth is; I was not her lawyer... and she does not have a lawyer.
Aman: this is really far too much
Shyam : I tried to explain this to Arnav many times...but Arnav never tried to listen to me, he just said she pulled the trigger so she should be hanged, I wished I had never taken this caseArnav was shocked, he couldn't understand what was happening around him, he forgot what he had promised Khushi and drove like crazy on the roads "Why did I never listen to Jiju?" he drove at full speed "she was saving my maa or killing my maa" he screamed as he was very confused

Arnav hit the brakes, his SUV stopped with a loud uncomfortable screeching noise. He looked at the sky again.
"Why is there mourning? She killed my mom!" he was feeling restless. He closed his eyes & rested his head against the head restraint of his seat. As he closed his eyes, he saw his Maa and her sadness was visible from her face, he quickly opened his eyes he was sweating badly. It was the first time he had seen his maa, he again closed his eyes;
"Maa please I want to see you again" he saw the picture of Khushi and how the police men were caressing it with lust in their eyes.
He started the car & drove back. The guard at the gate let him in, and he straight away walked to the visiting room. The Lady police-guard was shocked to see him back again, she wanted to stop him, but no one can stop Arnav and his wrath! He pushed her aside, rushed in & pull the police guys away from Khushi. He saw how they were scaring her with a lighted cigarette and others who were caressing her with their big disgusting dirty hands and were fantasizing of her naked skin with theirs.
Arnav moves forward, he picked up her duppata & covered her, he could feel she was shivering badly. he took his jacket off and kneeled down to cover her, the other guards tried to pull him, he pushed them with one hand.
Shyam: Arnav
Arnav: call to stop this! i forgive her!
he picked her up in his arms & walked out
man on duty: you can't do this
Arnav: ****** shut up
Shaym: are you crazy? how can this happen?
Arnav: don't waste time jiju, call the higher authorities, i will sort these B*****
he looked at her, she was turning blue, her eyes were closed, her hands were hidden under his jacket. They walk through the long corridor. the chains in her feet were echoing as they dragged against the floor.
Shyam: Arnav try to understand only 2 hours are left i can't stop it
Arnav saw Aman standing behind the bar gate as the police men had closed it "call media at once, tell that ASR has forgiven the murderer of his maa"

Aman followed his instructions,
Lady police: leave her
Arnav: Dare not touch her, i will take her out with me
he stand next to the bar gates carrying the fragile Khushi in his arms
Shyam:did they?...
Arnav: no i reached in time
he intentionally pull her close to him, she moan in pain, he stared at her. her eyes were tightly closed, as if she did not want to see the world and its ugliness
Shyam: make her sit here, for how long you will stand like that?
he pull a chair and Arnav tried to make her sit. He felt she grabbed his shirt as her fingers touch his skin, he was a bit surprised he stood up straight with her, placing his one leg on the chair and made her sit on his knee.
Shyam: I have asked you to make her sit
Arnav slides the coat which was covering her and he with eyes pointed at her hand. he covered it back
" I am fine! But what happened?"
Shyam: we are late, they are saying right now everyone must be sleeping.
Arnav: wake them up i don't care
he stared at her as she was shivering again, he placed his free hand on her cheek
Shyam: I thousand time asked you to meet her once per tumhara tou damagh kharab hai.
he saw media clicking pics
"please Arnav" he pull his sleeve
Arnav: she has high fever jiju
Shyam: jiju ka...! Shyam paused as he knew it was useless to talk to his stubborn saala. he walks to the media people, and asked them to flash the news soo much, so that it reaches the higher authorities
Police higher ranked officials reached jail and they were asking Shyam to tell Arnav to leave her and let her go in her cell
Shyam: after what he had seen he will not leave her
he look at him he was standing with her in his arms & she was sleeping with her head on his shoulder
Aman: DI?!
Akash, & nk came with Anjali who was covering her face from the media people
Arnav walked to Anjali: Di please don't hate me, i have forgiven her

Anjali pat his cheek. she look at the fragile Khushi in his arms "you did right" she asked him to make her sit with her, as she had read Shyam eyes
Arnav obeyed her and made her sit with her in the office. he became a witness & filed a case against the 3 police officials. time was flying . they were getting disappointed as there was no positive response, he walked over to the office where his DI & Khushi were. he locked the door "switch clothes"
Anjali: what
Arnav: make her wear your sari, i am taking her with me, they will not punish you
Anjali: are you sure?
Arnav: Di time nahi ha, please change clothes, he removed his coat from Khushi, he saw burns & bruises on her collar bone, he touch them
Anjali: how did this happen?
Arnav: those B***** did it. DI make it fast...please(whispered the last word)
he walked out .
after 10 mins, he came in with Shyam
Shyam was shocked to see his wife in prisoner clothes & Khushi in a sari.
Arnav: Di take off your rings and bangles
he placed all on khushi
Shaym: what are you doing?
Arnav: i am running away with her...Di mangalsutra?
Anjali: chote???
Arnav: Di for few hours if you will not wear it nothing will happen" he placed it on Khushi as she was sleeping in Anjali's lap, "sorry stealing your sindoor too." he applied on her forehead. he made her sit next to him covered her head & face with the sari pallu "i hope i can fool media & police force"
Shyam: you??
Arnav: give your wife your coat"
he made Khushi wear his "i am taking her, i will say my DI is not feeling well, i will not let any one see her face" he pulled her close to him whilst Anjali covered her properly

he paused as he saw Anjali in
Arnav: Aman i hate to lose! come with me Akash

they walk out he told that his DI was feeling sick and he has to take her to hospital, the guards just checked roughly and let them go, he walked out through all- right under their noses
Akash opened the car

Arnav: i may not call until all this will become solved. don't panic!
he seated in the unknown car "take my cell, i don't want them to trace me." he looked at a sleeping Khushi, fastened her belt & drove out of there, "maa... come on now you should be proud of me"

Khushi: hum dono apni amma se baat kar rahe the
Buaji: lagta hai Arnav Bitwa bhi iss ka saath reh reh kar pagal sanak gaya hai

Khushi picked up her cell, locked the door & dialed his number, as she heard his breath "suna hai logon ki naak laal horahi hai aaj kal" smirked whilst blushing herself as she imagined his blushing face
Arnav smiled in his sleep: "hmmm"
Khushi: aap abhi tak so rahe hai?
Arnav: you did not let me sleep last night,
he hug her pillow tight in his arms

she hide her smile & blushed

he turned and smirked imagining her

he too lay back "i want to stay in the trance, the magic which I experienced, that is way i am sleeping, i have heard time pass quickly like that"

Arnav checked the time, they still had 6 hours to wait "buaji ne kuch bola tou nahi?"

He said in a husky tone "i saw my self in the broken mirror out side the farmhouse, Khushi you know for the first time i loved my face in that broken mirror as i felt so many marks"
Khushi: "oh" she blushed and lowered her eyes as if he was in front of her
Arnav: by the way Aaj humari SR hai, what are your plans who will you copy"

she cut the call as she could sense his intention, she jump out of bed & sat in front of her DM "Arnav ji ro rahe the, hum rok nahi sake, please hum dono ko maaf kar dena, hum se un ki udassi dekhi nahi gai, hum ko maloom nahi tha ke woh hum se itna pyar karte hain"
she look at her cell as it buzz
"5 hours 45 mins to go Khushi" she held the cell close to her heart in order to feel him. This 5 hours and 44 mins and 30 seconds were going to be the longest ever of her life!!

It is being a week Akash and Payal got married in court as Mami was very annoyed with them ,she didnot let Arnav gave them  money .

one evening she was lying with pretending as if she was sleeping

Mami was in shock as she had over heard Payal and Akash conversation

Payal:: Akash your maa is to chipko , she cannot rest ,why she want you to be around her "

Akash: Payal i am too fed up she ruin the shadi , i always thought to have a grand wedding but she ruin my plan, even she had stop Bhai to send us on our honeymoon as all the burden will be on his shoulder

Payal: oh dont say that

Payal i have idea ,i will ask mama to ask us to come with them

They walk out

Mami silently cried ,she felt some one had put a heavy load on her heart ,tears started flowing out of her eyes .she didnot open her eyes as she heard Arnav and Khushi coming in room

Khushi: "sit here dont follow me "

Arnav Mami is sleeping

Khushi so what if she is sleeping you sit here till i cook dinner.

Arnav: but

Khushi "shhh"

Arnav: shake his head" as you wish "

Khushi "good boy ,i dont want her to be alone or feel she is ignored ."

Garima walked in with oil (Khushi didnot let go the opportunity, Mami ji wanted an attended  full time she ask Garima if she dont mind and like to be her attended , Garima wanted to be with Arnav she without thinking agreed )

Arnav: should i go ?

Arnav sit back with his Lappy, he was looking Garmia she was applying oil in mami feet, he look at Garmia feet it was all cracked .he closed his laapy and walk to wash room , he came with bowl of hot water "Aunti put your feet in this"

Garima" but why beta"

Arnav: look at your feet it is all crack."khushi is so careless , she say's you are like her maa ,why she dont take care of you" he was angry

Garima:feel like hugging him, she hold her self .

Khushi came to check whether mami was awake or not she got surprised to see Aranv sitting on carpet with Garima feet in his lap he was drying with towel " you see she is your daughter , why you dont call me your son then?"

Garima" cupped his faced and kissed him

Khushi took step back she stand still with the wall, she had prayed some how they both come close , she dont want to force Arnav at all she wanted him to come close to Garima himself. she ran to her room as she wanted to thank lord .

Arnav:Khushi how could be so careless ? he came in

Khushi what happen she  wipe her tears

Arnav: you asked your massi to take care of Mami , but you are not at all looking after her.

Khushi: is that only my duty , you cannot take care of her

Arnav hold her arm" yar day before yesterday , i heard her talking to mami , actually she was comforting mami ji .she was saying you are so lucky you have someone who call you maa "

Khushi: so she hug him as she was moved with his act

Arnav :  he left her as he know she is trying to pull his leg" forget it , it is useless to talk to you"

Khushi: smiled  " you order me , don't say ,samjha " she kissed his cheek ...she was really over joy as her all the wishes was coming true.she didnot bother to ask Garima about the past as she felt it will hurt her more . she plan to make her present perfect.

next day evening

Khushi was fixing his cupboard as he had lost his some shirt & asked her to find it , he was in shower . his cell was ringing ,she look at the caller name ,she picked up & walk to the pool side " hello "

DR: Mrs Arnav

Khushi: yes

Dr: thank God i found you , if you have time can you come to me

Khushi what happen?

DR: i can't tell you on phone

Khushi: i am coming , she deleted the call history " Arnav  i am coming in half hour " she knock at the door  & ran out of room as she knew he will come out & ask her 1000 questions she  took an auto & reached hospital, directly walked to the Dr room

Khushi : what happen tell me quickly? she was out of breath

Dr: have a seat

Khushi " you tell me"

Dr: placed the report in front of her

Khushi read the name "Arnav" she look at care fully " he is taking medicine"

DR: medicine is not everything Mrs Arnav , he has mental stress , check this it was his last week & this is his this week , see how much difference is there.

Khushi: but why it happen

DR: physical and emotional stress can prompt an increase in these hormones, resulting in an increase in blood sugars,  is he stressing himself ?

Dr if it is not controlled  blindness, kidney problems, and nerve damage

Dr:  Mrs Arnav , you please check he sleep properly or not , as it happen if patient is not having peaceful sleep

Khushi: ,saw her cell as it was ringing she picked up 

Arnav where are you?

Khushi coming home in 20 mins , she cut call

DR: Mrs Arnav make sure his reports get better ,i will call him after 5 days , if reports same then i will start insulin  it may suit few patient & it may not suit few it is the last remedy 

Khushi: his reports will be fine after 5 days . she stand & walk out ." the reality is bothering him " she drive back home 

Arnav" where "she ran & hug him "oye kya huwa "

Khushi: calmed her self " i missed you"

Arnav oh really , he picked her up. she was trying to see his face , he too good in hiding his emotions, "what happened why you are so pale ? are you feeling well" he made her sit "Khuhsi tell me what's wrong with you" as he could see tears in her eyes "please tell me " he hug her tight

Khushi " give me all your pain, all your stress Please "he pull her away & look at her 

Arnav " DO scare me yar tell me "she madly loved him as if she will never get another chance, he was shocked at her , she in heart made promise to her self she will love him so much he forget all his pain , because of Mami sickness she was not able to give him time,  he look at her "Khushi"she was all lost in her thought, he pinch her to bring her back in her senses 

Khushi"ha "

Arnav: "thek ho"

Khushi: smiled kissed his chin.

Arnav i forget to get Mami medicine , i will go & get, you sleep with mami"he try to get up from her ,she pull  him back 

Khushi" Op will bring" (as Mami was sick she was avoiding him , she use to sleep with Mami and every day she use to find him sleeping on cough in same room ,she didnot thought he will take all that so serious ) nani had said to her once , he will never demand from you . her words ego in her ears. she  run her finger in his hair" kya baat hai what are you thinking?'

Arnav : why i dont have a mom?

Khushi you have a mom ,never say like that

Arnav; what

Khushi bite her lips

Arnav what you said come again ?he grab her hand and pull her back to him 

Khushi: i will tell you but you promise me you will not take stress , and you will not ask questions ?

Khushi:Aunti is your mom , you were diabetic at birth, she didnot had means to take care of you she gave you to nani

Khushi: i said you will not ask me questions , i promised you  i will find your parents i did" she  saw tears

Khushi " i was not getting how to tell you" she hold his hand , 

Arnav hug her " I LOVE YOU" 

Khushi: hug him back she could feel his shiver ,he cried 

Arnav: can i see her?

Khushi yes she fixed his hairs ,he walk to the door

Arnav yes he gave her his hand . she jump out of bed fixing her dress, she walked with him . 

Garima was sleeping he walk and sat near her hold her hand, and kissed it

Arnav" my maa"

Khushi yes your maa

Garima heard their whisper she woke up she saw him kissing her hands "beta Kya huwa"she got confused

Khushi: with eyes told her she had told him ,she hug him  he placed his head in her lap and cried khushi sat near him as he was still holding her hand , Garima  pat him caress him , wipe his tears .

Arnav i remember this touch

Garima" when i use to  get very upset Ramu kaka use to bring you to me "

Khushi shake her head in eye , wipe his tears , which was non stop flowing out.  he wanted to feel the warmth of his maa lap she kept on patting him ,he slept.

Epilogue  

Mami: he is my son he will eat what i will cook

Garima :he is my son he will eat what  i will cook

Buaji: he is my son in law he will eat what i will cook

Khushi: please please you both don't fight , i have already made for him

Arnav who had enter home early could not hide his smiled, he at once didnot had single maa now he has 2 ladies  who want him to call them maa. he mesmerized his wife who was standing with their medicine and  milk

Khushi"nani yeh aap ki, Buaji yeh aap ki , mami yeh aap ki aur , maa yeh aap ki"she gave all the ladies their medicines

Arnav where is mine ?

Arnav when you were waving white flag ? he hug her

Arnav Ladies close your eyes as you have taken your medicine i want mine 

They all had a laughter Khushi pinch him and ran upstairs .

Mami was annoyed from Akash ,she had given him his share and broke all relation with him.

Arnav was the only man of the house and all the ladies dont miss chance to shower their love on him
